Unified Contributions and Benefits Data Lake

Chilean pension fund administrators (AFPs) manage data on members, pension contributions, and pension projections in fragmented systems (legacy on-premise, ERP, Excel), making it difficult to generate regulatory reports and strategic analysis.

    Consolidate in real time all sources of data on members and contribution movements, guaranteeing quality, traceability and compliance with SVS regulations without interrupting the monthly pension calculation cycle.

  • Solution

    We created a Data Lake on Google Cloud Platform with Dataflow pipelines that ingest daily contributions from each pension fund administrator (AFP) and on-premises benefit databases. We implemented BigQuery with partitioning by contribution month, access policies following the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, and a data catalog with Data Catalog to facilitate queries by risk and compliance teams.
