Success story.

Data Lake Cloud Foundational

A financial payments company was handling transactional data scattered across various on-premises sources (Hadoop), which caused delays in requesting information and made it difficult to maintain a single, consistent view of customers and products. The operation relied on manual processes and heavily loaded physical servers.

We take on any challenge

At Zenta there are no obstacles we cannot overcome.

  • Challenge

Implement a centralized, consistent, and governed repository to prevent data quality issues. The goal was to reduce the load on local servers and improve time-to-market for deliverables by incorporating CI/CD practices into data development.

  • Solution

Creation of a foundational Data Lake framework on AWS using the Serverless Data Lake Framework (SDLF) and Infrastructure as Code approach. The architecture supports batch and historical ingestion from Oracle and Hadoop, integrating services such as AWS Glue for transformation, S3 for storage, and Step Functions for orchestration, under the principle of "Least Privilege" in security.

Results from our management

  • Significant reduction of space used on On-Premise servers.

  • Providing a single source of consistent and governed information for all business areas.

  • Creation of the basic infrastructure for the migration of future processes and projects from the local Data Center to the cloud.
